Diablo 4 has brought good news for players with the confirmation that the Public Test Realm will return for Season 5. Diablo 4's first test server took place in preparation for Season 4 and made radical changes before the launch of the current season of Blizzard's action RPG.
Diablo 4's fourth season began on May 14 and was aptly named "Loot Reborn." To overhaul the player experience, Diablo 4 made many tweaks, such as reducing the pool of available Affixes and improving the drop rate of Legendary items. Another new Season 4 feature introduced the Masteworking system to Diablo 4 players, allowing them to take their characters' power to even greater heights. Season 4 certainly meant a complete 180 for Diablo 4, but the devs are already thinking about the game's next steps.

Following the success of Diablo 4's Season 4 test server, Blizzard's action RPG will get a new PTR for Season 5. A new Campfire Chat has been confirmed for June 21, in which the development team will discuss what players can expect from this new Public Test Realm. Although no date has been confirmed, Blizzard explained that the PTR for Diablo 4 Season 5 would take place after the release of the mid-season update. But the devs backtracked and preferred to postpone the upcoming PTR to avoid clashing with Diablo 4 Season 4.
Diablo 4 Confirms Season 5 Public Test Realm and Mid-Season Update
The news announced by Blizzard goes further, and along with the announcement of Diablo 4's Season 5 PTR, the devs have confirmed the arrival of the mid-season update. According to the devs, the patch notes for the mid-season update will be released on June 14, with Diablo 4 receiving the content of Patch 1.4.3 next week. Mid-season updates are often an important time for Diablo 4 players, as they come with major balances for the game's classes and other changes.
If the current moment for Diablo 4 is exciting, the coming months hold even more hype for the community. With the official announcement of Diablo 4's Vessel of Hatred expansion, it has been confirmed that the long-awaited DLC will drop on October 8. Vessel of Hatred will introduce the new Nahantu region, but despite the change of scenery, players can expect the same dark and brutal atmosphere as in Diablo 4. Another new addition to Diablo 4 will be the new Spiritborn class, a powerful warrior who inhabits the Nahanhtu jungle.
