Old news - article out awhile back said Memphis Cincinnati Rice Tulane UCF USF

And I was able to confirm that with a buddy of mine in the Texas athletic department

Not exactly. Look up at Post #22. All the tweet said was B12 looking at possibly adding 6 schools. That is ALL it said.

The list you refer to is from a December article by the same website. But as posted earlier by someone else, I think the post refers to the wrestling additions from a month ago, and is purposefully meant to mislead, for clicks.

I mentioned before somewhere that North Dakota State to the Big 12. Putting wrestling there would be a step closer for them to get full invite. Man, they sure have 3 sports that have done good in recent years.

Why would they put BYU completely on an island?

It could work if BYU and UConn were football only (since there are always UConn to the Big East rumors out there). As always, I put no credence to rumors from bloggers, Twitter trolls, or message board anons. Until it comes from a national writer, an AD, a school president, or a conference commissioner... it's all noise.

Let's see here... they would need to move up to FBS, double their football stadium capacity, they don't have any big markets... why on earth would NDSU be considered for a P5 invite before Boise, BYU, Colorado State, or any other more attractive western schools?

National writers need to maintain good relations with the folks that feed them information. That means as often as their information is good, their information is just as much disinformation. You think AD's, Presidents and Commissioners make it a habit to tell you the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth?

I'm not saying to look to bloggers and the like. They just want attention and a few extra bucks from advertising. Message board anons though, well....follow your intuition on those.

am i missing something.....when did they ever get a stadium? they have a "football arena." there is no way of expanding that little facility. they will actually need to build a real stadium...... not gonna happen.
